Requesting a more useful photo

When a view is missing or a detail is unclear, a specific request gets a specific answer. "Send more photos" invites another wide shot; naming the angle, the part and the lighting gets you something you can actually judge.

Build the request from three parts

  • The part: the chest print, the left sole, the size label, the waistband seam.
  • The view: straight on, from the side, close up, laid flat, held up.
  • The condition: in daylight or even light, in focus, next to a ruler if you need a measurement.

For example: "A straight-on close-up of the chest print in even light" or "The sole and the insole, in focus". Each one is a single, checkable request.

Asking for a measurement

If fit is the question, ask for a specific measurement with the item flat and a tape or ruler in the frame — for instance chest width pit to pit, or insole length. A number you can read from the photo is more use than a general "does it run small" answer, which no one can confirm from an image.

On cost and process

Whether extra photos, extra angles or a re-shoot carry a fee, and how you request them, depends on the agent's current process. This site cannot confirm those terms, so it does not state them — check the official help pages before you assume a request is free or paid.

Keep it to one thing at a time

If you need several views, list them as separate lines rather than one long paragraph. It is easier to fulfil, and easier to see which request is still outstanding when the reply comes back.

A QC check compares workmanship, colour, sizing, defects and mis-shipments against the order. It is not an authenticity test and cannot prove a material, a measurement or how the item will wear.
